Oliver Jones is a Canadian jazz pianist, organist, composer, and arranger born in Montreal in 1934. He studied under Daisy Peterson Sweeney, sister of Oscar Peterson. Throughout his career, he released over 25 albums, including "Live at Biddle's Jazz & Ribs" (1983) and "Just for My Lady" (2013). Jones received numerous awards, including two Juno Awards, and was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada in 1993. In 2023, he was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
