Onslaught is a British thrash metal band from Bristol, formed in 1982. Initially influenced by hardcore punk and NWOBHM, they later transitioned to thrash metal. Their debut album, "Power from Hell," was released in 1985, followed by "The Force" (1986) and "In Search of Sanity" (1989). After disbanding in 1991, they reunited in 2005 and released additional albums, including "Killing Peace" (2007) and "Generation Antichrist" (2020). They are considered pioneers of the British thrash metal scene. In 2022, they were inducted into the Metal Hall of Fame. In 2025, they plan to release the album "Origins of Aggression."
