Oomph! is a German rock band from Wolfsburg, formed in 1989. They are considered pioneers of the Neue Deutsche Härte genre, which combines elements of industrial metal and alternative metal. Their eighth studio album, "Wahrheit oder Pflicht," released in 2004, achieved platinum status in Germany. Other notable albums include "GlaubeLiebeTod" (2006), "Monster" (2008), and "Ritual" (2019). The band is known for their energetic live performances and lyrics in both German and English. In 2023, new vocalist Der Schulz joined the band, replacing original singer Dero Goi.
