Orang-Utan was a British rock band formed in London in 1971. Originally known as Hunter, the band comprised vocalist Terry "Nobby" Clarke, guitarists Mick Clarke and Sid Fairman, bassist Paul Roberts, and drummer Jeff Seopardie. Their sole album, "Orang-Utan," was recorded at De Lane Lea Studios and released in the United States without the band's knowledge. The album features tracks like "I Can See Inside Your Head" and "Fly Me High" and is noted for its hard rock sound with psychedelic elements. Despite legal issues and lack of recognition at the time of release, the album has gained cult status among hard rock and psychedelic rock enthusiasts.
