Owlle, born France Picoulet in Cannes, is a French singer and songwriter. After studying scenography, she moved to Paris to pursue music. Her stage name combines the English word "owl" and "elle" (she), reflecting her inspiration from nocturnal life. In 2011, she won the Inrocks Lab award and released her first EP, "Ticky Ticky," in December 2012. Her debut album, "France," was released in January 2014, followed by "Heavy Weather" in 2018 and "Folle Machine" in 2022. Owlle is known for her dream pop style, influenced by artists like Brian Eno, David Bowie, and Kate Bush.
