cd - Pale Saints

Pale Saints was a British band formed in 1987 in Leeds, known for their alternative rock and indie rock sound with elements of shoegaze. Originally composed of Ian Masters (vocals, bass), Graeme Naysmith (guitar), and Chris Cooper (drums), they released their debut album 'The Comforts of Madness' in 1990 to acclaim on the UK's indie scene. They followed it with two more albums, 'In Ribbons' (1992) and 'Slow Buildings' (1994). The band collaborated with artists on the 4AD label and shared similarities with shoegaze groups like Lush and Ride. Pale Saints are recognized for their melancholy harmonies and ethereal soundscapes.
