cd - Paolo Bottini
Paolo Bottini is an Italian organist renowned for his interpretations of classical organ music. In 2024, he released a two-disc album titled "Giacomo Puccini: Complete Organ Works" under the Da Vinci Classics label. This album comprises 57 pieces composed by Puccini between 1870 and 1880, during his tenure as an organist in Lucca and surrounding areas. The recordings were made on historic 19th-century Italian organs, specifically the 1855 Felice Bossi organ in Chiesa Parrocchiale di Pavone Canavese and the 1862 Bossi organ in Duomo di S. Stefano in Casalmaggiore. The album was nominated for the International Classical Music Awards in 2025 in the solo instrument category.
