Peter Lipa is a Slovak singer, composer, and jazz promoter. Since 1976, he has been the artistic director and promoter of the Bratislavské jazzové dni festival. He has released several albums, including "Neúprosné ráno" (1983), "Naspäť na stromy" (1995), and "Lipa spieva Lasicu" (2005), which won four Aurel awards. He collaborated with lyricist Milan Lasica and other musicians. His music combines jazz and blues, and he is known for using the Slovak language in jazz music.
