PHONOLAB is a collaboration between Anglo-Italian musician Gaudi and experimental electronic composer Eraldo Bernocchi. Their debut album, 'Disturbia', released on April 11, 2025, through Subsound Records, features contributions from Gerald Casale (Devo), Flowdan, Bill Laswell, and the late Mark Stewart (The Pop Group). The album blends electronic innovation, deep basslines, and cutting-edge sound design, creating an immersive and genre-defying experience. The album's title was suggested by Mark Stewart during recording sessions with PHONOLAB shortly before his death, paying homage to his influence on the UK post-punk scene.
