Pierre Guédron was a French singer and composer active around 1570 to 1620. He served at the courts of Kings Henry IV and Louis XIII and was renowned for his "airs de cour" – courtly songs. Notable works include "Est-ce Mars" from 1613, which was popular and adapted by various composers. Guédron also contributed to ballets such as "Ballet de Monseigneur le duc de Vendosme" and "Ballet des Argonautes". His work influenced early 17th-century French music.
