Planning for Burial is the solo project of Thom Wasluck from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He released his debut album, "Leaving," in 2009 under Enemies List Home Recordings. In 2014, he signed with The Flenser and released "Desideratum." The 2017 album "Below the House" received widespread acclaim. In 2018, he performed at the Meltdown Festival in London, curated by Robert Smith of The Cure. In 2025, the project celebrates its 20th anniversary. Wasluck is known for his DIY approach, handling music recording, album artwork design, and performing as a one-man band.
