Psychotic Waltz is an American progressive metal band formed in El Cajon, California, in 1988. Originally known as Aslan, the band changed its name after discovering another group with the same name. Their debut album, "A Social Grace," was released in 1990 and received positive reception in Europe. This was followed by "Into the Everflow" (1992), "Mosquito" (1994), and "Bleeding" (1996). After disbanding in 1997, the band reunited in 2010 and released "The God-Shaped Void" in 2020. Their music is known for its technical complexity and progressive elements.
