Punch Brothers is an American band formed in 2006 in Brooklyn, New York. The group consists of Chris Thile (mandolin), Noam Pikelny (banjo), Chris Eldridge (guitar), Paul Kowert (bass), and Brittany Haas (fiddle). Their musical style blends bluegrass with classical elements and is often described as "American country-classical chamber music." In 2018, they released the album "All Ashore," which won the Grammy Award for Best Folk Album at the 61st Grammy Awards in 2019.
