Pure Bathing Culture is an American duo from Portland, Oregon, consisting of Daniel Hindman and Sarah Versprille. After relocating from New York in 2011, they began creating music characterized by ethereal synthesizers, chiming keyboards, and shimmering electric guitars, complemented by pulsing drum machines. Their debut album, "Moon Tides," was released on August 20, 2013, under Partisan Records. The album features tracks like "Pendulum" and "Dream the Dare." Their music draws influence from artists such as Cocteau Twins and Talk Talk. Before forming their own band, both members collaborated with folk-rock musician Andy Cabic in the band Vetiver.
