Rain Parade is an American alternative rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1981. As part of the "Paisley Underground" movement, they are known for their psychedelic sound. Their debut album, "Emergency Third Rail Power Trip," was released in 1983, followed by the EP "Explosions in the Glass Palace" in 1984 and the album "Crashing Dream" in 1985. After disbanding in 1986, members pursued various musical projects. The band reunited in 2012 and continues to perform and record.
