RAMP, an acronym for Roy Ayers Music Productions, was a soul and funk group from Cincinnati, Ohio, active in 1977. Their sole album, "Come Into Knowledge," was produced by Roy Ayers, Edwin Birdsong, and William Allen. The album features tracks "Daylight" and "Everybody Loves the Sunshine," which were later frequently sampled in hip-hop music. Despite their brief career, RAMP left a lasting impact on soul and funk music.
