Rapoon is the musical project of Robin Storey, a former member of Zoviet France. After the dissolution of Zoviet France in 1992, Storey founded Rapoon to explore ethnic music and experimental techniques. His work encompasses ambient and electronic genres. The album "Cidar" was originally released in 1994 as a limited edition DAT tape through Staalplaat Records and was later reissued as "Cidar (Redux)" with three previously unreleased tracks. Rapoon has released music on labels such as Staalplaat, Soleilmoon, and Relapse Records.
