Rebecca Trescher is a German jazz clarinetist and composer known for her innovative compositions that blend jazz with classical music and avant-garde elements. She studied at the Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg, earning a diploma in jazz clarinet. In 2014, she released the album "Nucleus" with her ensemble Fluxtet. Other notable works include "Silent Landscapes" (2022) and "Paris Zyklus: The Spirit of the Streets" (2021). Trescher has received several awards, including the Bayerischer Kunstförderpreis in 2017 and the Deutscher Jazzpreis for "Composition of the Year" in 2022.
