Riot is an American heavy metal band formed in 1975 by guitarist Mark Reale. Their third album, "Fire Down Under" (1981), is considered their most significant work. In 1988, they released "Thundersteel," marking their return to the scene. After Mark Reale's death in 2012, the band continued under the name Riot V. Their fourteenth studio album, "Immortal Soul," was released in 2011. The band is known for its influence on the heavy metal scene and maintains a strong fan base in Japan and Europe.
