Roberta Brenza is a Chicago-based vocalist and songwriter who debuted with the album "It's My Turn to Color Now" in 2023. She collaborated with producer and drummer Matt Wilson, pianist Dawn Clement, bassist Cameron Brown, saxophonist Stacy Dillard, and vocalist Sheila Jordan on this album. The album features jazz standards like "Take Five" and "Bye Bye Blackbird," as well as two original compositions by Brenza. Drawing from her multicultural background, Brenza offers fresh interpretations of "Les Feuilles Mortes" and "Estate."
