Roberto Prosseda is an Italian pianist renowned for his interpretations of Felix Mendelssohn's works. He has recorded Mendelssohn's complete piano works for Decca Records and premiered his third piano concerto. Prosseda is also dedicated to reviving the pedal piano, an instrument popular in the 19th century, and has collaborated with Ennio Morricone and Michael Nyman on new compositions for this instrument. In addition to performing, he serves as an artistic advisor for events like the Cremona Musica International Exhibitions and co-founded the Patmos Chamber Music Festival.
