Ryo Okumoto is a Japanese rock keyboardist, best known for his work with the American progressive rock band Spock's Beard, which he joined in 1996. He has also collaborated with artists such as Phil Collins, Eric Clapton, and Aretha Franklin. In 2022, he released his solo album "The Myth of the Mostrophus," featuring guest appearances by Steve Hackett and Michael Sadler. The album comprises six tracks, including the 22-minute title piece.
