Sam Rivers was an American jazz saxophonist who recorded his debut album, "Fuchsia Swing Song," in December 1964 at Van Gelder Studio. The album was released in April 1965 under the Blue Note label and features tracks such as "Fuchsia Swing Song" and "Beatrice." Rivers collaborated with pianist Jaki Byard, bassist Ron Carter, and drummer Tony Williams.
