Sammy Davis Jr. was an American singer, dancer, and actor who began his career in childhood as a member of the Will Mastin Trio. Throughout his career, he released over 50 albums and starred in three Broadway shows. His most notable songs include "The Candy Man" and "What Kind of Fool Am I". Davis was also a member of the Rat Pack alongside Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. In 1987, he was honored by the Kennedy Center, and in 2001, he was posthumously awarded the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
