SCANDAL is a Japanese all-female rock band formed in Osaka in 2006. The band consists of Haruna Ono (vocals, guitar), Mami Sasazaki (guitar, vocals), Tomomi Ogawa (bass guitar, vocals), and Rina Suzuki (drums, vocals). They debuted in 2008 with the EP "Yah! Yah! Yah! Hello Scandal" and gained popularity with their 2009 single "Shōjo S," which was used as an opening theme for the anime "Bleach." Their 2009 album "Best Scandal" reached number 5 on the Oricon charts. The band is known for their energetic pop-rock style and actively tours worldwide.
