Scuba Death is the project of Brazilian composer Ricardo Donoso, focusing on electronic music with elements of ambient and techno. He debuted in 2014 with the album "Nitrogen Narcosis" and released "The Worm at the Core" in 2017. Donoso draws inspiration from personal experiences, including a near-drowning incident in the South Atlantic, which influenced the atmosphere of his music. His work is characterized by the use of analog instruments, sampling, and field recordings, and he has collaborated with cellist Rafa Selway. Scuba Death releases are under the Further Records label.
