Seven Mary Three was an American rock band formed in 1992 in Williamsburg, Virginia. The band gained prominence with their second studio album, "American Standard," released in 1995, which reached number 24 on the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum in the United States and Canada. The album featured the hit single "Cumbersome," which topped the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. Over their career, Seven Mary Three released seven studio albums and one live album. Their musical style was often categorized as post-grunge and alternative rock. The band disbanded in 2012.
