Shannon Wright is an American singer-songwriter from Jacksonville, Florida. She began her music career with the band Crowsdell and later moved to Chapel Hill, North Carolina, to pursue a solo career. Notable albums include "Flightsafety" (1999), "Maps of Tacit" (2000), and "Dyed in the Wool" (2002). Her music is known for its experimental approach and lo-fi sound. Wright has collaborated with artists such as Rachel's and Low. In 2018, she composed the original score for the film "Les Confins du Monde".
