Shardik is an instrumental trio consisting of guitarist Matt Hollenberg, drummer Matt Buckley, and bassist/synthesist Nick Shellenberger. Their music blends avant-garde classical, free jazz, dissonant math metal, ambient, and world music. Their debut album, "Shardik," was released in 2017 under Tzadik Records. The album features tracks like "It Is What It Isn't" and "Inner Dimensions." Hollenberg is also known from bands Cleric and Simulacrum.
