Sherman Robertson was an American blues guitarist and singer known for his style blending blues, soul, and zydeco. Born in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, and raised in Houston, Texas, he collaborated with artists like Bobby 'Blue' Bland and Junior Parker in the 1960s. Later, he played guitar in Clifton Chenier's band. In the 1990s, he released "I'm the Man" (1994) and "Here & Now" (1996) under Atlantic/Code Blue Records. In 1998, he released "Going Back Home" under AudioQuest Music. In 2005, he released the live album "Guitar Man – Live" with the band BluesMove. Robertson passed away in 2021 at the age of 72.
