Shit and Shine is an experimental music project formed in 2004 by Craig Clouse. Originally from London, United Kingdom, the project is known for its percussion-driven sound that blends noise with electronics. Clouse is the sole consistent member, with a constantly rotating lineup. Their debut album, "You're Lucky to Have Friends Like Us," was released in 2004, followed by "Ladybird" in 2005, which featured a 42-minute improvisation built on a repetitive drum rhythm. The 2006 album "Jealous of Shit and Shine" was placed at number 88 on NME's "The 100 Greatest Albums You've Never Heard" list in 2011. In 2022, they released the album "New Confusion."
