Shoko Kuroe is a Japanese pianist active in Germany. She studied under Eliza Hansen, a pupil of Edwin Fischer and Artur Schnabel. Kuroe is known for her interpretations of contemporary classical music and has collaborated with various composers. In 2023, she released the album "Jan Müller-Wieland: Piano Works," featuring works by German composer Jan Müller-Wieland. This album includes the "Capriccetti" cycles and the piece "Trauma und Rückgrat," dedicated to the #MeToo movement. Kuroe has also released albums "Elise in Wonderland - Piano Miniatures for Children" and "Snow."
