Shybits is a Berlin-based post-punk garage rock trio composed of friends Liam from Brighton (guitar and vocals), Piero from Italy (bass and vocals), and Meg from South Africa (drums). Their fuzzy, feel-good sound is reminiscent of post-punk and 90s garage rock and has been described as "Beach Boys suntan nostalgia meets Beatlesque vocal harmonies." In 2018, they signed with Duchess Box Records and released their first EP titled "Idiot Like You." After a series of singles, their debut album "Body Lotion" followed in February 2022. The band has made a name for themselves in Berlin, leading to tours and festivals across Germany and Europe, supporting acts like Gurr, Yard Act, Gustaf, Turnover, Automatic, Sorry, and We Were Promised Jetpacks. Additionally, they have performed on the TV show Rockpalast and the American NPR World Café Show. They are currently working on new material and preparing for upcoming shows.
