Shye Ben Tzur is an Israeli musician and composer who resides in both India and Israel. He composes qawwali, instrumental, and devotional music in Hebrew, Urdu, and Hindi. In 2003, he released his debut album "Heeyam," followed by "Shoshan" in 2010. In 2015, he collaborated with Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood and the Indian ensemble Rajasthan Express on the album "Junun," recorded at the Mehrangarh Fort in Rajasthan. This project was documented in a film by director Paul Thomas Anderson. Ben Tzur regularly collaborates with Rajasthani folk musicians, blending Sufi music with Western elements in his work.
