Silverfish was a British indie rock band formed in the late 1980s, first performing in Camden in 1988. The band disbanded in 1993. Their debut album, "Fat Axl," was released in 1990, followed by "Organ Fan" in 1992, which reached number 65 on the UK Albums Chart. Their music was characterized by high energy and feminist lyrics, with a sound influenced by metal, hardcore punk, and industrial music. After the band's breakup, vocalist Lesley Rankine moved to Seattle and formed the band Ruby. The products available from the artist Silverfish include vinyls.
