Silversun Pickups is an American alternative rock band from Los Angeles, formed in 2000. The band consists of Brian Aubert, Nikki Monninger, Christopher Guanlao, and Joe Lester. Their debut album, "Carnavas," was released in 2006 and featured successful singles "Lazy Eye" and "Well Thought Out Twinkles." Subsequent albums include "Swoon" (2009), "Neck of the Woods" (2012), "Better Nature" (2015), "Widow's Weeds" (2019), and "Physical Thrills" (2022). Their music is often compared to the styles of Smashing Pumpkins and My Bloody Valentine. The band collaborated with producer Butch Vig on the albums "Widow's Weeds" and "Physical Thrills."
