Six by Seven is an English indie rock band formed in 1992 in Nottingham. The original lineup consisted of vocalist and guitarist Chris Olley, guitarist Sam Hempton, drummer Chris Davis, bassist Paul Douglas, and keyboardist James Flower. Their debut album, "The Things We Make," was released in 1998, followed by "The Closer You Get" in 2000. The band is known for its unique sound that blends elements of indie rock, shoegaze, and neo-psychedelia.
