Slaughter is a Canadian death metal and thrash metal band formed in 1984 in Toronto. The original lineup consisted of Dave Hewson (guitar, vocals), Terry Sadler (bass guitar, vocals), and Ron Sumners (drums). Their debut album, "Strappado," was recorded in 1986 and released in 1987 under the Diabolic Force/Fringe Records label. The album features tracks such as "Disintegrator/Incinerator" and "Nocturnal Hell." The band is known for its raw and aggressive style, which has influenced many other bands in the genre.
