Sławomir Zubrzycki is a Polish pianist, claviolinist, composer, and instrument builder, renowned for reconstructing the viola organista, an instrument designed by Leonardo da Vinci. Between 2009 and 2012, he built the first playable version of this instrument, which combines keyboard and string elements. His debut recitals in 2013 in Kraków received international acclaim. In 2015, he released the album "Viola Organista: The da Vinci Sound," featuring Baroque works, funded through the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter. Zubrzycki also collaborated with Icelandic singer Björk on the acoustic version of her album "Vulnicura." His concert tours have included performances at European festivals such as Wratislavia Cantans and the Ghent Festival of Flanders.
