Snooks Eaglin was an American guitarist and singer from New Orleans, renowned for his ability to perform a wide range of musical styles, including blues, rock and roll, jazz, and country. Nicknamed "The Human Jukebox," Eaglin claimed to know approximately 2,500 songs. He began his career in the 1950s, recording for various labels, including Folkways and Imperial. Notable albums include "New Orleans Street Singer" (1959) and "That's All Right" (1961). Eaglin frequently collaborated with other New Orleans musicians, such as Professor Longhair and Allen Toussaint. He passed away in 2009 in New Orleans.
