Sofia Portanet is a German singer and songwriter who blends elements of post-punk and Neue Deutsche Welle with operatic vocals. Her debut album, "Freier Geist," was released in 2020 and features songs in German, English, and French. In 2024, she released her second album, "Chasing Dreams," which includes a cover of "Coplas" by her father, revolutionary singer and poet António Portanet.
