Soft Play is an English punk rock duo from Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, consisting of Isaac Holman (vocals, drums) and Laurie Vincent (guitar, bass guitar). Originally known as Slaves, they changed their name in 2022 due to controversy surrounding the original name. Their debut album, "Are You Satisfied?" (2015), reached number 8 on the UK Albums Chart and was nominated for the Mercury Prize. This was followed by "Take Control" (2016) and "Acts of Fear and Love" (2018). In 2024, they released "Heavy Jelly". Their music combines elements of punk rock, alternative metal, and hardcore punk.
