Solace is an American stoner metal band from Asbury Park, New Jersey, formed in 1996 by former members of the band Godspeed. The group has released four studio albums: "Further" (2000), "13" (2003), "A.D." (2010), and "The Brink" (2019). Their music blends elements of stoner metal, doom metal, and hard rock. In 2010, their album "A.D." was named "Metal Album of the Year" on iTunes. Solace has performed at festivals such as Emissions from the Monolith and Roadburn Festival. The current lineup consists of Tommy Southard (guitar), Justin Daniels (guitar), Justin Goins (vocals, keyboards), Tim Schoenleber (drums), and Mike Sica (bass guitar).
