Solomon Burke was an American soul singer known as the "King of Rock 'n' Soul". De Dijk is a Dutch rock band formed in 1981. In 2010, they collaborated to release the album "Hold On Tight", featuring English versions of De Dijk's songs with Burke's vocals. The album was recorded in Amsterdam and received positive reviews for blending Burke's soul style with De Dijk's rock sound.
