Somethin' for the People was an R&B group from Oakland, California, active from 1990 to 2000. The trio consisted of Curtis "Sauce" Wilson, Jeff "Fuzzy" Young, and Rochad "Cat Daddy" Holiday. Their second album, "This Time It's Personal" (1997), featured the hit single "My Love Is the Shhh!" with Trina & Tamara, which reached number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. The group also wrote songs for artists such as Brandy and En Vogue. After releasing their third album, "Issues," in 2000, the group disbanded.
