cd - Spidergawd
Spidergawd is a Norwegian hard rock and heavy metal band from Trondheim, formed in 2013. Initially a side project of Motorpsycho members Bent Sæther and Kenneth Kapstad, they were joined by vocalist and guitarist Per Borten and saxophonist Rolf Martin Snustad. Their debut album, 'Spidergawd', was released in 2014 and nominated for the Spellemannprisen in the rock category. In 2015, they received the Bendiksenprisen award. After Sæther's departure in 2016, bassist Hallvard Gaardløs joined the band. Known for their energetic hard rock sound influenced by Thin Lizzy, Judas Priest, and Iron Maiden, their discography includes 'Spidergawd II' (2015), 'Spidergawd III' (2016), 'Spidergawd IV' (2017), 'Spidergawd V' (2019), and 'Spidergawd VI' (2021).
