Steve Wynn is an American singer, musician, and songwriter, best known as the founder and leader of The Dream Syndicate, formed in 1981 in Los Angeles. After the band's dissolution in 1989, he embarked on a solo career and revived The Dream Syndicate in 2012. Notable solo albums include "Kerosene Man" (1990), "Dazzling Display" (1992), and "Fluorescent" (1994). Wynn is recognized for his contributions to alternative rock and the Paisley Underground movement. He has collaborated with artists such as Mike Mills of R.E.M. and Vicki Peterson of The Bangles. In 2024, he released the album "Make It Right" and the memoir "I Wouldn't Say It If It Wasn't True".
