Suicide Silence is an American deathcore band from Riverside, California, formed in 2002. The group has released seven studio albums, including their debut "The Cleansing" (2007), which debuted at number 94 on the Billboard 200 chart. Their sixth album, "Become the Hunter," was released on February 14, 2020. The band received the Revolver Golden God award for "Best New Talent" in 2009. They are known for their deathcore style, combining elements of death metal and metalcore. After the death of original vocalist Mitch Lucker in 2012, Hernan "Eddie" Hermida joined the band as the new vocalist in 2013.
