Super Furry Animals is a Welsh rock band formed in Cardiff in 1993. The original lineup consisted of Gruff Rhys (vocals, guitar), Huw Bunford (lead guitar, vocals), Guto Pryce (bass guitar), Cian Ciaran (keyboards, synthesizers), and Dafydd Ieuan (drums, vocals). Their debut album, "Fuzzy Logic," was released in 1996, followed by "Radiator" in 1997. The band is known for its eclectic style, encompassing alternative rock, indie rock, power pop, neo-psychedelia, and electronica. Throughout their career, they collaborated with artists such as Paul McCartney and Goldie Lookin Chain. In 2001, their album "Rings Around the World" was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize. The band is considered part of the renaissance of Welsh culture in the 1990s.
