SuperM is a South Korean supergroup formed in 2019 by SM Entertainment and Capitol Music Group. The group consists of seven members from existing boy bands: Taemin from SHINee, Baekhyun and Kai from EXO, Taeyong and Mark from NCT 127, Ten and Lucas from WayV. Their debut EP "SuperM" was released in October 2019 and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, making them the first Asian artist to achieve this with a debut release. In September 2020, they released their first studio album "Super One". The group is known for their performances in the genres of K-pop, dance-pop, hip hop, and R&B.
